Getting Your Horse or Pony Ready for Polocrosse

Little Reed is a great pony for polocrosse. Nothing rattles him.

How did he get this way?

Caroline Gardiner (on the American Polocrosse Association's Under 21 Youth Development Team) shows you how she prepared Little Reed to be a top-notch polocrosse pony. This real-life training session lasts about 6 minutes.

NOTE: Each horse is different. Activities in this video may NOT be safe for you and your horse. Potential danger exists in all equestrian activities; proceed with caution. You may not be able to safely copy these steps as shown, depending on your experience and training, and that of your horse.
